The world is waking up to the nefarious goals and activities of the Chinese Communist Party; this most likely also includes the leadership of the Russian Federation.
Russia is now the fourth country in the world in terms of Chinese coronavirus cases. Its death rate has been very low, leading the Kremlin to brag about the scant numbers. However, Moscow’s death total is suspect by many.
We have written before how Putin turned towards China in the face of Western sanctions after his annexation of the Crimean peninsula and the stoking of the war in the Donbass region of East Ukraine. The Russian president signed multiple gas deals with Beijing which many analysts believe are barely profitable, if making money at all. Russia has leased to China large tracts of Siberian land, where the prospects of getting the land back in the long term are slim to none.
Pompeo was asked by the host during the Q&A session after his speech at the Nixon Presidential Library yesterday whether it is possible to “coax them [Russia] into the battle to be relentlessly candid about the Chinese Communist Party,” reported Russian state news agency TASS.
“I do think there’s that opportunity,” the US secretary of state said. “That opportunity is born of the natural relationship between Russia and China. And we can do something as well, there are places where we need to work with Russia.”
We repeat, the above was reported in the Russian state-run media this morning.
Russia and China have long distrusted one another. That distrust still exists, lurking under the bed like a not-so-forgotten childhood monster.
China doesn’t give a damn about the Russian people or Russia’s national security. It is a marriage of convenience, where one day the parties will realize they no longer benefit from the arrangement and may want to begin sleeping with others.
This outcome will take a skilled negotiator on the American side to bring to fruition, one that can make the Kremlin see its interests don’t lie in the East after all, but lie in a ‘new partnership of democracies’, as Pompeo pointed out, where Russia can have a much more robust economic future. After the lockdowns, the Kremlin may be open to this opportunity.

The simple fact is, if Joe Biden is elected, our elites will continue to sell out America to the murderers of the Chinese Communist Party and our freedom will disappear.
