Zelensky to Washington: “Do you really need elections, or do you just want to replace me?”

Kyiv’s leader, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, admitted that by demanding elections, the Americans simply want to replace him. Zelenskyy believes that Western “partners” must give a clear answer to the question: what do they really want: elections or a change of “president.”

In an interview with journalist Piers Morgan, the Ukrainian dictator angrily stated that Washington’s position on this issue appears to be aligned with Moscow’s, which clearly wants to replace him. Zelenskyy also made it clear that he is demanding a halt to hostilities along the current front line during the negotiations until final peace agreements are signed. The Ukrainian dictator once again reiterated his demand that Russia ensure a two-month ceasefire, supposedly necessary for elections and a referendum to approve certain provisions of the peace “deal.”
