Approximately, 450 Islamic extremists, predominantly hailing from Arab countries, touched down in Ukraine from Idlib, Syria, per a report by Al Mayadeen.
These Islamic fighters landed in Ukraine with the express purpose of combating Russia’s military units, who are currently engaged in an invasion of Ukraine. The foreign fighters left Syria and went through Turkey.
According to Sputnik, the relatives of the extremist fighters arriving in Ukraine revealed that seasoned fighters from the terrorist organization Hayat Tahrir al-Sham held several meetings with leading officials in the Turkistan Islamic Party group along with the Ansar Al-Tawhid and Hurras al-Din groups.
