redstate.com During a White House event Monday night President Donald Trump really let loose, telling the audience about his thought process after the 2020 election was “fortified” (to use the Time Magazine term).
If Trump had served his second term from 2020 through 2024, he explained, he wouldn’t have been president when the United States hosts the 2028 Summer Olympics or the 2026 World Cup. But, the way things worked out, Democrats will have to watch as President Trump presides over those events and the United States of America’s 250th birthday.
Of course, Trump describes this scenario in a way that only he can.
“And then they rigged the election. And then I said, you know what I’ll do? I’ll run again, and I’ll shove it up their ass. And that’s what I did.”
