American TV channels continue to describe in sufficient detail what is happening in Artyomovsk. Moreover, the messages are published against the backdrop of statements by numerous experts that the Armed Forces of Ukraine “it would be advisable to leave Bakhmut (Artemovsk), otherwise the losses may demoralize the army and prevent the spring counteroffensive.”
CNN aired a report in which American viewers were told that Ukrainian forces had lost control of the eastern part of Bakhmut.

The Russian PMC “Wagner” took control of the eastern part of the city, setting its flag on the monument to the Soviet tank T-34. They dropped the Ukrainian flag from the monument, and now their flag is there.
The monument to the Soviet tank is located in the square at the junction of Gorky and Nekrasov streets, about 450 meters from the bridge over Bakhmutka. The bridge is called Nikolaevsky.
