Appeals Court Gives President Trump HUGE WIN On Alligator Alcatraz

In a massive victory for immigration enforcement, a federal appeals court has just ruled that “Alligator Alcatraz” in Florida can stay open!

In a 2-1 ruling, the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals overturned a lower-court order that would have forced the facility to gradually shut down operations.

Obama-appointed Judge Kathleen Williams was the one who issued the prior ruling:

The original case against “Alligator Alcatraz” was brought by environmental groups who argued that the facility endangered the Florida Everglades ecosystem.

However, the appeals court ruled that this argument was invalid because the facility is owned by the state of Florida; therefore, it does not have to comply with federal environmental laws.
