Conservative political columnist Benny Johnson visited East Palestine residents impacted by the devastating train derailment and release of toxic chemicals into the environment.
Johnson visited the 20 closest homes to the disaster site in East Palestine.
He gave each home $1,000 dollars to financially assist residents during this environmental crisis.
It’s a shining example that Americans don’t need the government to provide assistance when our neighbors need help.
“We took all our social media revenue and gave it to the people most affected by the toxic explosion in East Palestine. These reactions say it all. We don’t need to wait for the government to help out our fellow Americans in need,” Johnson tweeted.
“We wanted to come here and give a little money to people to help out. Say that we’re sorry that this happened to you. We don’t need anything from you. Just wanted to say we love you,” Johnson told an East Palestine resident.
