On Wednesday evening, a 30-year-old New Jersey councilwoman, Eunice Dwumfour (R) was found dead inside a vehicle parked outside her apartment. She had suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
Around 7:22 pm, a 911 call reported shots fired, and Dwumfour was later found dead in her SUV after it crashed near her apartment complex.
While some locals reported seeing the gunman race off toward the Garden State Parkway, there are no other identifying details on the assailant.
