Former President Donald Trump said the alarming surge of migrants at the border makes their own “prisoners look like very nice people,” after Fox News Channel host Sean Hannity asked him Thursday how he will address immigration in his campaign.
Appearing in Eagle Pass, Texas, the GOP front-runner spoke with Hannity about illegal immigration at the border – referring to it as the “worst border ever in the history of the world” – and vowed to fix it as he claimed to have done in 2016.
Trump said: “There’s never been a border where 15, 16, maybe 18 million people have already crossed. I think nobody has any idea what the numbers are.”
