Double Standards between WWII civilian victims of the Germans (Holocaust) and the Allies’ bombings civil casualties

The bombing of Dresden was an aerial bombing carried out by the United Kingdom and the United States on the German city of the same name between 13 and 15 February 1945, during the Second World War. After a succession of directives which indicated with ever greater clarity that the target to be struck was the civilian population, on 14 February 1942, with the so-called Casablanca Directive, the British Air Ministry ordered Air Marshal Arthur Harris’s Bomber Command to: «concentrate attacks on the morale of the enemy civilian population, especially industrial workers».
