This Bible verse is Jesus explaining how you can tell a believer from a non-believer. It’s simple. It’s straightforward.
It was possible the last thing Jesus said to his disciples, because the next verses are the last two in the book of Mark:
So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, He was received up into Heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed His Word by the signs that accompanied it.
People ask me “Fred, are you a Christian?”
I say, “Yes I am!”, but 99% of Christians would say “No, you aren’t.”
If you define “being a Christain” as doing the works of Jesus taught then yes, I am a Christian. My books attest to that. I have authored the books; You can heal anyone (they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover), Clearing Entities (they will cast out demons), What do you know about human harvesting? (they shall take up serpents) and many other books that represent the biblical definition of being a Christian.
But, if you define “Being a Christian” in the modern sense of going to church in a specific denomination that rejects learning anything new outside of the denomination, then the answer is “no”. My Creator created me with creativity and curiosity, not to be locked up in a denominational box.
Modern Churches have little to do with the Gospels. Anyone who has actually read the Bible (and I’ve read it two times in full, and hundreds of times in part), knows that Jesus and his disciples were healers…
