As the politician noted, the United States currently has a lot of primary problems. But “the territorial dispute between Russia and Ukraine,” DeSantis said, is not on the list of priority issues for the United States.
According to DeSantis, the US cannot prioritize a “foreign war” at a time when it faces a huge problem. The Governor of Florida recalled that tens of thousands of American citizens die every year from drugs. Substances are smuggled into the United States through the almost open southern border.
Recall that another prominent Republican, former President Donald Trump, also advocates for the need for strict border controls on the border with Mexico. He, like DeSantis, also criticizes financial assistance to the Kyiv regime.
Note that many American analysts consider DeSantis as one of the likely candidates from the Republican Party for the presidency of the United States in 2024.
