House Judiciary Committee Releases Report on Coordinated Government/Educational Online Censorship

The House Judiciary Committee has released a preliminary report detailing how, under the name of Election Integrity Partnership (EIP), the federal government, in conjunction with Stanford University and major online content hosts such as Alphabet (Google) and Meta (Facebook), actively throttled online speech by major conservative individuals and organizations by labeling their content “misinformation.”

As Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) noted in a series of messages on X (formerly Twitter) on November 6, Stanford provided information regarding its participation in EIP solely under the threat of being held in contempt.

As outlined in the committee’s preliminary report issued on November 6, the EIP’s purpose was obscuring the government’s involvement with online speech suppression….
