Trumpâs trial date for Jack Smithâs January 6 case is currently scheduled for March 4, 2024 (election interference).
In a filing on Sunday, Jack Smithâs prosecutors asked Obama-appointed Judge Tanya Chutkan not to delay the trial.
âIn light of the publicâs strong interest in a prompt trial, the Government will seek to ensure that the trial proceeds as scheduled,â Smithâs prosecutors wrote in a 3-page court filing on Sunday.
