JUST IN: Trump Rewriting RNC Speech After Surviving Assassination Attempt

President Trump is rewriting his entire speech for this week’s Republican National Convention, following the assassination attempt on his life during Saturday’s rally.

Trump has said that he is rewriting the speech to focus on unity. His original speech targeted the failed policies of Joe Biden.

“The speech I was going to give on Thursday was going to be a humdinger,” Trump told a reporter from The Washington Examiner, “Had this not happened, this would’ve been one of the most incredible speeches. Honestly, it’s going to be a whole different speech now.”

“This is a chance to bring the whole country, even the whole world, together,” he added, “The speech will be a lot different, a lot different than it would’ve been two days ago.”
