A leftist journalist in Philadelphia who had mocked crime in the city tragically experienced it firsthand when he was shot and killed by an intruder in his home.
Journalist and LGBTQ activist Josh Kruger, 39, was shot seven times inside his home early Monday morning and then tried to get help outside at about 1:30 a.m. He was shot in the chest and abdomen and staggered outside his Point Breeze home where he collapsed, according to police. Kruger was rushed to the hospital where he succumbed to his wounds about half an hour later, according to the Daily Mail.
âThe Dilbert dude is like Nostradamus. Look at this prediction from 2020. Wow. Eerie,â Kruger wrote.
Kruger posted to Facebook two weeks before his death that someone had come to his home searching for their boyfriend.
