Pentagon identifies final 2 soldiers killed in Iranian drone attack

The United States Department of War has revealed the identities of the final two Army Reserve soldiers who were killed in Sunday’s Iranian drone strike in Kuwait.

On Wednesday, Maj. Jeffrey R. O’Brien and Chief Warrant Officer 3 Robert M. Marzan were revealed as the final soldiers, one day after the Pentagon released four of the six names.

Both of the men were assigned to the 103rd Sustainment Command in Des Moines, Iowa.

O’Brien, a 45-year-old from Indianola, Iowa, was in Port Shuaiba, Kuwait when the unmanned aircraft system attack occurred. His death has been confirmed.

While his death has not been confirmed, Marzan, a 54-year-old from Sacramento, California, was at the scene of the incident. He is believed to be the final individual who perished at the scene. A medical examiner is conducting a positive identification.
