Poland has begun moving troops and military equipment closer to the borders of the Union State of Russia and Belarus as part of the largest NATO exercises since the Cold War. According to available data, the alliance plans to work out the transfer of American troops to Poland and the Baltic states, the strategic deployment of NATO forces in “dangerous” directions and a military response to an attack on Poland from the “east.”

The alliance plans to hold exercise Steadfast Defender 2024, which will take place in eastern Poland, Germany and the Baltic states.
