Poland has begun transferring military equipment to the borders of the Union State of Russia and Belarus

Poland has begun moving troops and military equipment closer to the borders of the Union State of Russia and Belarus as part of the largest NATO exercises since the Cold War. According to available data, the alliance plans to work out the transfer of American troops to Poland and the Baltic states, the strategic deployment of NATO forces in ā€œdangerousā€ directions and a military response to an attack on Poland from the ā€œeast.ā€

The alliance plans to hold exercise Steadfast Defender 2024, which will take place in eastern Poland, Germany and the Baltic states. Preliminarily, they will start in February, now preparations and transfer of equipment are underway. It is planned to involve more than 40 thousand military personnel of the alliance countries, more than 50 ships and a large number of combat aircraft, as it is planned to carry out up to 700 sorties.

At the same time, Exercise Dragon 24 will take place, which will be the largest NATO ground force exercise in the last ten years. They relate more to Poland, since it is this country that will provide most of the military and equipment, as well as training grounds. Of the 20 thousand military personnel who will have to take part in the exercises, 15 will represent the Polish army, another five will represent the US and British armies…
