The left-wing denomination Presbyterian Church USA is tracking how many “nonbinary/genderqueer” people attend their church to improve its woke standing with LGBT activists.
The Church’s website informs readers that demographic tracking has been a regular practice, according to The Blaze.
“Each year, the Office of the General Assembly gathers statistical information from presbyteries across the country and provides a comprehensive breakdown on church membership, ethnicity and age distribution, as well as other information,” the site reads.
However, the Church informed its congregation that it should anticipate changes in the annual survey. Kris Valerius, the church’s manager of denominational roles and statistics wrote on the website that, “We’ve always asked how many female members there are in the church.”
