Another river in the Siberian Kemerovo region of Russia has turned blood red after a mysterious pollution spill. Worried residents of the industrial Kemerovo city said even ducks were refusing to swim in the toxic water of the Iskitimka River.

Yes, this water looks very toxic! Today it’s not a river, it’s more like cranberry jelly.

The chemical that caused the ominous discolouration is still under investigation and I wouldn’t like to be the perpetrators.

It is still unclear if the substance poses health risks to people. But just in case you want to know, there are half a million people living there and the red waters have already flowed into the larger Tom River.
