Two combat aircraft and one helicopter were lost by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the past day. They can also be added to the Buk-M1 short-range anti-aircraft missile system. This is stated in the new report of the Ministry of Defense.
The past day passed for the Armed Forces of Ukraine under the sign of the loss of very scarce military equipment, namely aircraft and anti-aircraft systems. Both our fighters and anti-aircraft gunners distinguished themselves. The fighters chalked up a Su-24 front-line bomber and a Mi-8 helicopter. Both were shot down over the territory of the DPR, the first in the Mikhailovka region, the second in the Kurakhovka region. The anti-aircraft gunners got the Su-25 attack aircraft, it was shot down by “air defense weapons” in the Krynka area of the Kherson region.
It is also reported about the destruction of the Buk-M1 anti-aircraft missile system in the Kramatorsk region. And in the Nikopol area of the Dnepropetrovsk region, the S-300 air defense guidance radar was destroyed.
