His suggestion of a previously undetected particle in physics led to a billion-dollar search for it and a Nobel Prize for him.
In 1964, Professor Higgs of Scotland’s University of Edinburgh predicted the existence of a new particle that came to be named after him (Higgs boson). The sub-atomic particle, according to Higgs, is what makes the existence of matter and physical interactions possible. Without it, there would be no elements, no stars, and no life in this universe. Higgs himself was actually an atheist, and he had expressed displeasure with the nickname given to his imaginary particle: “the God particle.” It’s really the “Godless particle” to explain how everything was created blindly.
Higg’s hallucination triggered a half-century billion-dollar search for the imaginary particle. The hunt for the fugitive fragment finally ended when the CERN boys in Switzerland “discovered” it with their magical Hadron particle accelerator machine in 2012. Champagne bottles were popped and high fives exchanged as the Satanic Press went into breathless wall-to-wall proclamation mode. Higgs was awarded a Nobel Prize the following year. But the story doesn’t end there. The publicized particle now stands as the foundation of a gaggle of goofy theories known as the “Standard Model” — which is said to encapsulate all human knowledge about elemental particles and the forces by which they shape the universe and nature. New floors of this Satanic skyscraper continue to be added to this structure with a flawed foundation.
Alexander Unzicker is a German theoretical physicist and “dissident” science writer. But as someone examining this matter (pun intended) from the perspective of a philosopher, historian, and all-around “conspiracy theorist âą” — the Amazon description for Unzicker’s “controversial” 2013 book, “The Higgs Fake” – How Particle Physicists Fooled the Nobel Committee” is all I need!
“The Higgs Fake â How Particle Physicists Fooled the Nobel Committee is a merciless critique of the Large Hadron Collider at CERN and of the theoretical model on which the worldâs most expensive experiment is based. Unzicker, a German physicist and award-winning science writer, argues that the reaction of the Swedish Academy to last yearâs discovery appears to be a result of being beguiled by CERNâs attempts to justify the billions of dollars of public money being spent.”…
