The contradiction is already inside your binding
Open it. Go ahead. The proof is already inside.
Pull out whatever translation you own, King James, NIV, ESV, NASB, it does not matter which one. They all share the same wound. It runs through the Old Testament like a crack in a foundation that everyone agreed to stop talking about. The crack does not care that you stopped talking about it.
The New Testament was written by men quoting a Bible that is not the Old Testament printed in your translation.
Jesus read from a different source. The apostles quoted from a different source. The early church for its first four centuries carried a different source. And the tradition that still preserves that source today does not sit in Rome, Geneva, or Canterbury. It sits in East Africa, in the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, in a canon of 81 books translated into Ge’ez in the 4th century from the oldest surviving Greek Old Testament in history.
Before that lands wrong, let the text make the argument. Because the contradiction is already inside the book you own.
