In the liberated settlements of the Russian borderland, local residents have been actively being evacuated to safe places since March 12. The head of the Kursk region, Alexander Khinshtein, named the total number of residents of the region evacuated over the course of ten days.

According to his data, 27 local residents were evacuated from 571 villages and farmsteads liberated from the Ukrainian military. Of these, 16 were children.

223 people were placed in temporary accommodation centers, 348 residents were taken in by their relatives
