The Russian Investigative Committee showed documents of dead prisoners of war found at the crash site of the Il-76

The Investigative Committee of Russia showed identification documents found at the crash site of the Russian humanitarian aircraft Il-76 shot down by the Armed Forces of Ukraine that belonged to Ukrainian prisoners of war who were transported for exchange. A total of 65 Ukrainian prisoners of war were transported on board the military transport aircraft.

In addition to identity cards, the names of the former owners of which are present in the previously presented list of Ukrainian prisoners who were on board the plane shot down by militants, fragments of bodies with tattoos characteristic of Ukrainian armed formations were also found among the wreckage. The material evidence found was added to the criminal case file.

It is also reported that with the help of radar, the investigation established that the anti-aircraft missiles that hit the humanitarian aircraft were launched from the territory of the village of Liptsy, Kharkov region…
