From December 16 to December 19, conservative organization Turning Point USA celebrated its third AmericaFest conference.
Kicking off in 2021, AmericaFests have served as a hub for students and adults alike to congregate and exchange right-wing ideas, while also listening to some of the most prominent speakers in the modern-day conservative movement.
This yearâs conference proved to be no less explosive than those in years prior. TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk used his bully pulpit during a speech he gave on December 16, 2023, to call out Republican Party leadership, namely, the Republican National Committee Chair Ronna McDaniel for their inability to turn the party into a political juggernaut.
In his speech, Kirk demanded that the GOP be remade into a âgrassroots party from the bottom-upâ. Moreover, he called for the expulsion of Republicans in the mold of failed presidential candidate Mitt Romney and former House Speaker Paul Ryan from the party âonce and for all.â

The TPUSA founder capped off his speech by declaring that âRonna McRomney has to resign as chair of the RNC. She has got to resign.â
