UPDATE: 911 System Down in Cities Across Nebraska, Nevada, South Dakota, Texas

Several cities in four different states are reporting emergency 911 call system outages on Wednesday evening.

Outages have been reported in Nebraska, Nevada, South Dakota, and Texas. Some restorations are now being reported, but the cause isn’t known as of this time.

Nebraska

In Dundy County, Nebraska, and neighboring areas, outages were reported.

The non-emergency line and 911 texting remained operational.
