USDA Approves GMO Soybean Plant That Emits Radiofrequency To Monitor Conditions And Is Fluorescent

Earlier this week biotech company InnerPlant received regulatory approval from the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), for a revolutionary bioengineered soybean crop that admits an optical signal that allows farmers to see what’s affecting the crop in real time.

According to the company’s press release published in July 18th, the company provides a brief description as to how their biotech soybeans operate:

InnerPlant engineers crops to produce safe and long-studied proteins when under attack from pathogens or when short of water or specific nutrients.
