A Border Patrol agent was reportedly beaten and bloodied by an illegal immigrant, the latest evidence of the worsening situation at the southern border as record numbers of migrants enter the country.
Former Republican congresswoman Mayra Flores, whose husband is a border agent, shared photos of the bloodied agent as well as the alleged migrant assailant, who had the word “rat” marked on his forehead. According to Flores, the migrant, who was apprehended near McAllen, Texas, “was labeled a rat by the cartels.”
