Former Prime Minister of Japan: We need to pay attention to Taiwan, it could be next after Ukraine and Gaza

Former Prime Minister (2008-2009) of Japan Taro Aso made a statement that the matter will not end with armed conflicts in Ukraine and Palestine. Using the phrase “hot spot,” which sounds like “broken glass (window),” Aso said the risks of “further devastation” now occurring in Southeast Asia are extremely high.

The former chairman of the Japanese cabinet said that after Ukraine and Gaza, the most likely point of conflict is Taiwan.

Speaking about the “broken windows” theory, Aso used the terminology of the American criminologist George Kelling. According to the criminologist’s theory, if one broken window is not repaired, more broken windows will follow, eventually leading to the decline of the entire city.
