How to Disarm America

To disarm America is to destroy the very foundation of freedom that our country was built upon. Because we have more guns than people, we are immediately, categorically different than how you disarm other countries.

The 2nd amendment is wired into our core framework in the attitude of what it means to be an American. Free speech and the right to bear arms are our biggest backbone pieces. Our founders recognized that if you give people rights but you don’t give them the means to defend those rights from a tyrannical government, that government could grow and eventually take away the rights of the people.

To put it in other words, the 2nd amendment is 2nd because it is the failsafe that safeguards all our other rights. If your government becomes corrupt, you don’t want your government to have all the guns. On the contrary – the people should have guns and the government shouldn’t be allowed to regulate or limit people’s access to these guns.

One way or another

There are multiple strategies that can be employed to disarm the American people. All of these strategies can be classified as either voluntary or involuntary means.

Disarming involuntarily means (as you might guess) through the use of physical force. Voluntary disarmament involves the strategic use of some type of hardcore coercion and the creation of pressure. This pressure is designed to make it increasingly uncomfortable or perhaps impossible for you to live your life, but there is no physical force involved.

I believe there are both voluntary AND involuntary means at play right now. If I had to guess, I would wager that voluntary disarmament would be the main tactic of the left going forward. Once enough momentum has been achieved on this front, I believe a switch to involuntary methods would take place. Let’s take a closer look at how each of these methodologies might affect our country as they are leveraged against us.

Lighting the powder keg.

The involuntary confiscation of American citizen’s guns would essentially require the use of either law enforcement, military, or both. A big problem with this approach would be the willingness of these groups to enforce unconstitutional laws, and the turmoil this could create as a result.

Police are already on the defensive as there are propaganda wars against the thin blue line. People are calling for the defunding of the police, etc. It’s not a fun time to be a cop. As a guy who knows a lot of officers, I know that a lot of departments around the country are facing real problems with retention in light of these issues. When you push these officers out to enforce a law that contradicts their oath, you are likely to compound this retention problem. A sudden decline in active LEO’s and you’ve now got a whole lot of other problems on your hands.

You face a very similar issue with the military. Many of our members in arms typically take more of a conservative voice and wouldn’t support the contradiction of the constitution that a gun grab would merit. If our political leaders leverage either LEO’s or military against us, then civil war becomes a possible, albeit disastrous outcome. While this war among ourselves is spoken of often in the gun industry, I do not believe it to be something that would happen the way many seem to think. Remember – one side has guns, the other does not. I believe a propaganda war is much more likely as it gets one side far more traction. Why use bullets that you don’t have when you have a ballot box? Why use force when you can control media/influencers to push propaganda for a more peaceful and voluntary means of  disarmament?

Pressure and coercion.

To disarm America through voluntary tactics is to use laws, economics, and sociological measures against U.S. citizens.

On the legal front, gun-owners would be under threat of becoming a criminal. If you have x number of guns or x type of gun, then you are suddenly a felon facing punishment. More moderate gun owners would immediately give into this fear. This would mean handing over all or some of their weapons so as to not be labeled a criminal. Another tier could be imprisonment. You could be thrown in jail for refusing to comply, as could family members who refuse to report you for the guns you own.

These unconstitutional laws could also be used to chip away at your rights in other manners. You can have your rifle, as long as it’s a musket that doesn’t work. And you have no ammo for it. And it’s locked in a safe, wrapped in chains, at the bottom of a lake. These laws would make it so difficult to own a gun that the 2nd amendment is essentially nullified.

Economic incentives are yet another common route for gun control. Fines could be levied so aggressively that no normal person could afford to own a gun. Couple this with a buy-back program and many people who are down on their luck (corona, recession, etc.) would turn in their firearms for the money they need. What the government is really doing is buying a gun from you with your own money (taxes) to get something back that they never had in the first place. Awesome. They could also choose to heavily tax manufacturers or retailers in the gun industry, effectively putting it out of business.

Mind Games.

I believe that sociological warfare is currently the main tactic being used to disarm Americans.

What I’m seeing is a carrot and a stick. The carrot – if you give up all your guns, then crime will go down and children won’t die and the world will be a safer place. The stick – if you DON’T give up your guns then you are a crazed, uneducated, and unattractive fanatic. This is followed by more bogus statistics, harassment, name-calling, and sociological coercion. People will give away more and more of their rights because they’ve been convinced it’s the only way to “prove” they want peace. It’s a terroristic tactic: “no more peace until you give into my demands.”

We can see this play out in the media anytime there is a shooting or a gun-related death. The fault is placed on the gun rather than the person that pulled the trigger. A simple 30,000 ft view of the issue will reveal that more guns equal less violent crime.  92-96% of all active shooter events in the last 20 years happened in gun free zones.

The most violent cities in America are the ones with the strictest gun laws. Bad guys don’t want to attack you when they know you have a firearm.

Let there be Liberty.

For my part, I am hardcore pro first and second amendment. I love freedom, and I believe Warrior Poet Society is made up of the freedom fighters of today. We are calculated – we’re seeing and reading the terrain so we can understand the tactics of the enemy and learn how to defeat those tactics.

What’s at stake is freedom itself. What’s at stake is our ability to protect our way of life and be a beacon of hope and faith for the rest of the world. We are forces of good in the world, despite what media propaganda would lead you to believe. You’re not crazy, nor a fanatic. You’re just someone who understands that freedom is always safeguarded by the bold, loving, daring protectors. And that’s us these days.
