Did NYC Mayor Eric Adams just realize the error of his ways and admit that sanctuary cities are a dangerous failure?
It appears so.
In a turnaround from his earlier defense of so-called âsanctuary citiesâ where illegal immigrants are protected from being deported, Mayor Adams is now calling for changes to be made to New Yorkâs sanctuary city.
Specifically, he wants migrants who commit felonies to be turned over to ICE for deportation.
During a Town Hall meeting in Brooklyn, NYC Mayor Adams vocalized his shift in tone on sanctuary cities.
