A prominent pro-abortion writer called for more violence against pro-life advocates Sunday in response to reports about a fire intentionally being set at a Wisconsin pro-life organization.
In a post on Twitter captured by Jerry Dunleavy of the Washington Examiner, Caroline Reilly, who works for the pro-abortion news site Rewire, wrote “more of this” followed by a link to a New York Times report about the Wisconsin arson investigation.
“More of this. May these people never know a moment of peace or safety until they rot in the ground,” Reilly wrote, according to screen shots from Fox News, National Review, independent journalist Andy Ngo and others.
Her comments referred to arson and vandalism Sunday at the pro-life Wisconsin Family Action building in Madison. Police said they found at least one Molotov cocktail (basically a homemade firebomb) in the building, but they believe someone lit another fire after the incendiary device failed to ignite, according to the Wisconsin State Journal.
