Russian forces, during a special operation, targeted the advanced German anti-aircraft system Skynex designed to combat drones and low-flying objects.

Skynex features a rifled automatic gun, the Oerlikon Mk3, with a firing rate of 1,000 rounds per minute. It can be remotely controlled, firing projectiles with programmable AHEAD detonation. The system can be mounted on a truck or deployed as a stationary unit. The radar, responsible for detecting, tracking, and identifying aerial threats, typically operates at a range of 20-30 km, although it may vary depending on the radar configuration and target size.
