Forced Government Education: Are We Herding Our Children Like Cattle?
Eric Dubay’s article sheds light on a dark reality that is often ignored: millions of children worldwide are forced to attend one-size-fits-all education systems that suppress their creativity and critical thinking skills. This type of education creates a generation of individuals who are conditioned to conform to societal norms, rather than being taught to think for themselves.
Schools have been designed to operate like factories, where children are trained to respond to bells and whistles like Pavlov’s dogs. They are forced to sit in rigid rows, facing the teacher and blackboard, and memorize information for standardized tests, rather than being taught to think critically and develop mastery of the subjects at hand. This system promotes small-group mentalities, uniformity, and competition while hindering creativity, compassion, and curiosity.
While standardized testing and government textbooks may create manageable populations, they come at a great cost. They stifle creativity and skepticism while suppressing critical thinking and individuality. This creates a generation of individuals who are not encouraged to question the status quo and simply follow orders.
