From the beginning, God established His divine order, setting time in motion with His creation. Yet, over the centuries, the original Hebrew reckoning of time has been altered, distorted, and replaced with a system influenced by those who do not hold to the truth. The modern Jewish calendar, which claims we are in the year 5785, is a fabrication—a deliberate alteration designed to obscure the true timeline.
The Deception of the Modern Jewish Calendar
Scripture warns us of those who claim to be something they are not: “I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.” (Revelation 2:9)
“Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie.” (Revelation 3:9) The so-called Jewish calendar, finalized by the rabbinic authorities, is not the ancient Hebrew calendar of Israel. It was influenced by Babylonian systems, changing the way time was measured. The result is a deliberate miscalculation, shortening history to hide the truth—that we are much closer to the return of Jesus Christ than they would have us believe.
Israel: A People, Not a Plot of Land
The modern political state of “Israel” was established in 1948, but it has no historical continuity with the biblical Israel of Scripture. The true Israel has always been a people, not a piece of real estate. God’s covenant was not with a land but with the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—the twelve tribes of Israel.
The twelve tribes lived in the land God promised to their forefathers, but there was never a land historically called “Israel” in biblical times. It was known as the Holy Land, divided among the tribes, and later as Judah and Samaria. Jesus Himself was born in Bethlehem, in the land now called Palestine, not a land called “Israel.” The state of Israel today is not the Israel of the Bible but a political entity. The true descendants of Abraham are scattered, and the full regathering of Israel will only happen under the rule of the true King—Jesus Christ.
The True Biblical Calendar: Counting the Years from Adam
When we look at the unaltered Scriptures, the true timeline since Adam is much longer than what the modern Jewish calendar claims. The Masoretic Text places Adam’s creation around 4004 BC, meaning we are now in the year 6029 since Adam (2025 AD).
The Prophetic Week: 6,000 Years of Work, 1,000 Years of Rest
The Bible teaches that: “One day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” (2 Peter 3:8) God created the world in six days and rested on the seventh (Genesis 1-2). If each day represents 1,000 years, then the history of mankind follows the same pattern:
- 4,000 years from Adam to Christ (4 “days”)
- 2,000 years from Christ to now (2 “days”)
- We are at the end of the 6,000 years—entering the 7th day, the millennial reign of Christ!
This 1,000-year Sabbath aligns with the Millennial Kingdom spoken of in Revelation: “And they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.” (Revelation 20:4)
The Final Punishment of Those Who Changed God’s Times and Cut Up His Land
Throughout history, men have sought to alter God’s divine order—manipulating His calendar, distorting His Word, and dividing the land He declared holy. But God is not mocked. Judgment is coming upon those who have changed the times and seasons and those who have partitioned His land for their own gain.
Judgment on Those Who Change God’s Times
The prophet Daniel warned us about a blasphemous system that would rise up to alter God’s timeline and laws: “And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.” (Daniel 7:25)
This prophecy speaks of an entity—often understood as the beast system of the end times—that changes God’s ordained calendar and imposes false laws on mankind. The modern Jewish calendar, influenced by Babylonian reckoning, is part of this deception. But God will restore His perfect time when Christ returns. As He declares in Joel: “I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten.” (Joel 2:25)
Judgment on Those Who Divide God’s Land
God made a covenant with Abraham and his descendants, and He declared: “I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant.” (Genesis 17:7)
But today, His land has been divided, bought, and sold by those with no right to it. Nations have drawn false borders, carving up what was once given to all twelve tribes. Scripture warns of severe consequences for those who take part in dividing God’s land: “For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.” (Joel 3:1-2)
This prophecy tells of a future judgment, where God will gather all nations to war—punishing those who scattered Israel and divided His land. The book of Zechariah also speaks against those who oppress God’s inheritance: “For thus saith the Lord of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.” (Zechariah 2:8)
“Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.” (Zechariah 12:2) Today, global powers fight over Jerusalem, fulfilling these prophecies. But God’s justice is coming.
The Fate of the Nations That Reject God’s Order
The Bible repeatedly warns that all who rebel against God’s will shall fall: “The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.” (Psalm 9:17)
“The nations have sunk in the pit that they made; in the net that they hid, their own foot has been caught.” (Psalm 9:15) When Christ returns, He will crush the kingdoms of this world and establish His righteous rule: “And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.” (Daniel 2:44)
Come, Lord Jesus, Come! (Revelation 22:20).
🙏 well done Brendi .
Great job Brendi .
Brendi, Cleonne & I have been members since 6-2014. Bless you, John & crew. Question; In Exodus 4:21, why did God tell Moses that He would harden Pharaoh’s heart so that he won’t let the Hebrews go. Then in verse 24 he started to kill Moses? I just can’t find a proper answer. God Bless all ‘y’all. Dennis & Cleonne Midgett, Harlingen, Texas. P.S. the offer to you & John is still good!
Dear Dennis & Cleonne – This is how I understand it. Before Moses could lead Israel, he had to be fully aligned with God’s covenant. The severity of the judgment (almost killing Moses) shows just how vital covenant obedience was—and still is. Once that issue was dealt with, Moses was fit to lead God’s people.
God Seeking to Kill Moses (Exodus 4:24)
Context:
Immediately after God commissions Moses, the narrative shifts to a seemingly abrupt event where “the LORD met Moses and was about to kill him.” This is almost certainly connected to the matter of circumcision (verses 25–26), which Moses had neglected. Here is why it happened:
Circumcision was the physical sign of the Abrahamic covenant (Genesis 17). Failing to circumcise one’s son was a direct violation of that covenant. Moses, as God’s chosen leader, was supposed to be the example of obedience to God’s commands.
Seriousness of Covenant Obedience
By not circumcising his son, Moses was disregarding the foundational sign of belonging to God’s covenant people. For the one who would confront Pharaoh and lead Israel out of bondage, God required absolute faithfulness to His covenant requirements.
Zipporah’s Intervention
Moses’ wife, Zipporah, quickly circumcised their son, averting God’s judgment. This action underlined how critical it was for Moses to uphold the covenant if he was to stand as God’s representative before Pharaoh. remember: this event took place when humanity was still under the Law, living in a fallen state because of Adam and Eve’s sin (Romans 5:12). Our connection and relationship with God were basically cut off back then. The only way the Israelites could interact with Him was by bringing sacrifices to the temple every year—because, as Scripture says, “without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness” (Hebrews 9:22). The priest would then make the sacrifice and intercede for the people (Leviticus 16:15–16).
God is just—He is not mocked (Galatians 6:7). He’s holy, and He follows His Law to the letter. There’s no wiggle room on this, because He can’t be in the presence of sin (Habakkuk 1:13). That’s why He couldn’t be with Jesus when Jesus died: the sin of the entire world was on Him (Matthew 27:46). That shows you how massive Christ’s sacrifice really was. Animal blood only covered sin for a while, but Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice who paid for our sins in full (Hebrews 10:10–14). By doing that, He restored our relationship with God once and for all.
Now, we have open access to the Father through prayer and through the Holy Spirit living in us (Ephesians 2:18; 1 Corinthians 3:16). That’s why John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son…”—because Jesus made it possible for us to come back into God’s presence again. – Let me know if you have any further questions. Much Blessings – Brendi
