In September, UFC fighter Damon Jackson’s brother died suddenly, just two weeks after getting vaccinated against Covid-19. Since losing his brother, Bradley “Action” Jackson, Damon has been searching for answers. In a recent interview, Damon suggested that the vaccine may have been a factor in his brother’s untimely death.
After losing his brother, Damon switched his nickname from “The Leech” to “Action” as a tribute to his brother. He explained this in his interview with Sherdog, a mixed martial arts news outlet.
“Right before my last fight, my brother passed away, and that was his football nickname. So, they would call him Bradley “Action” Jackson, so they would just call him that on the intercom every time he would make a tackle and stuff,” said Damon. “I just thought it’d be cool to keep him around with the nickname. So… I made the switch, and it sounds good, I like it. I’m going to stick with it from here on out.”
