Rose McGowan has been told to stay off social media by critics after she walked-back her knee-jerk apology over Twitter to Iran, apologizing for the airstrike that killed Iranian General Qassem Soleimani.

Rose, 46, said she had ‘stupidly looked at Twitter’ after waking up to see the news that the Iranian general was killed by the American air strike.

‘I had a flashback to being at the United Nations cafeteria with my friend who was a lawyer there for the UN and it was the same day that Colin Powell was delivering his fake WMD testimony at the UN,’ she to Associated Press.

‘I was like you’re just going to do it, stop lying and just do it.’

McGowan added that while her family has always been ‘extremely political,’ she currently does not ‘believe governments.’

‘I don’t believe in Iran’s government and I do not believe in the American government,’ she continued. ‘Clinton on the eve of his impeachment launched rockets at Iraq.Ā I mean let’s all open the same handbook, have we not been here before?’

The activist is referencing a December 17, 1998, airstrike that Bill Clinton approved of just two days before the House of Representatives approved the articles of impeachment against him.

McGowan further drags the Democratic Party in her condemnation of governments, adding that Harvey Weinstein was involved with some of the party’s largest players.
