Limbaugh was dubbed âThe most dangerous man in Americaâ because he told the truth
Tucker Carlson dedicated an important monologue to the late Rush Limbaugh Wednesday, emphasizing that the legendary talk radio host has been fighting against censorship for his entire 30 year run.
âRush Limbaugh actually believed things, and believed them with sincerity. That was his secret. What he believed most of all was that America is a good and decent place and worth preserving,â Carlson stated.
Carlson then noted that because Limbaugh was so well versed with the founding documents of America, he instantly became a threat to the corporate establishment.
âThat was a threat to the people who wanted to be more powerful than the Constitution allows, so they tried to silence him,â Carlson noted.
âWe think of corporate censorship as a new phenomenon, but Rush Limbaugh was fighting it 30 years ago, and winning,â he added, noting that Limbaugh was dubbed âThe most dangerous man in Americaâ because he told the truth.
Carlsonâs guest Mark Steyn described Limbaugh as one of the most generous people he ever met, and a man to whom he owes almost everything.
Steyn further added that had Limbaughâs listenership been a country, it would have been one of the most powerful nations on the planet.
