US House Votes to Impeach Treasonous DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for Promoting Radical Open Borders Agenda

On February 13, 2024, the United States House voted 214-213 to impeach Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary. Alejandro Mayorkas. This vote impeachment came after multiple failed attempts. 

Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene first introduced the impeachment resolution back. In November, the House moved forward to refer articles of impeachment against Mayorkas to committee. At the time, the House did not cast a definitive vote on the legislation due to how eight Republicans voted alongside Democrats to refer the resolution to committee.

The resolution was originally introduced by Georgia Congressman Marjorie Taylor Greene. In November, the House voted to refer articles of impeachment against Mayorkas to the committee. The House did not end up voting on the legislation, as eight Republicans voted with Democrats to refer the resolution to committee.

At the start of February, the resolution was unable to pass the House in a 214-216 vote, with four Republicans joining Democrats to derail the passage of this resolution.

Due to the partisan makeup of the US Senate, this legislation will likely end up dying. In many respects the passage of this legislation in the GOP-controlled House is a form of political performance art due to how this legislation will not pass in the Senate.

Nevertheless, Mayorkas should ideally be impeached for the open borders treason he has facilitated…
