They’re back! And as awesomely clueless as ever.
Everyone’s favorite, fake has-been metal band Spinal Tap, along with director Rob Reiner, created the mockumentary genre with 1984’s “This Is Spinal Tap.” Now, they are set to give us an update on their perpetually doomed quest for relevance in a sequel, according to a new report from the entertainment industry site, Deadline.
In an interview with the RHLSTP with Richard Herring podcast, Reiner spilled the juicy details on when filming is expected to start, and the real-life rock stars/musicians (Paul McCartney, Elton John, Garth Brooks, and “a few other surprises”) who will be making cameos in the comedy.
